Animation Architecture Showreel

Animation

This is a montage of some of the architecture projects i've made.

There are a bunch of different ways how you can illustrate an architecture project.
One of my favourite is the project where the animation starts by drawing a 2d-plan and ends with a transformation to a photorealistic animation.

Animation egg stunt masters

Animation

egg stunt masters is a short clip. My intention was to test the plug-ins NitroBlast and MagicCar.

The animation was rendered with vrayforc4d.

Project Schülerhaus Dreisamtal

Animation

Every year - in some summer nights the Schülerhaus Dreisamtal has a special open air cinema event for children and their families. For this event I got the idea to make an intro which can be shown before the cinema show is starting.

I used pictures which I found on the web as template to build up the building in cinema 4D. I also cycled to the spot and took pictures as reference. The reproduction process in cinema 4d took me 2 weeks. Test rendering and final render tooks one week more. The whole animation is rendered with vrayforc4d. The beamer light is made with vray environment fog.

Experiment table football

Animation

Actually the original project is more than 6 years old. In the last term of my study I have to concept and produce one project of my choice. I decided to build up a table football and animate the play.

On the start of the original version of this short film was a scene with real people. They didn't finish there table football game. So after they have left the room the table football was getting alive and finish the game by itself. Now I remastered the animation. I converted the scene to vrayforc4d, added more different point of views and made a new music / sound setting.

Experiment polygone animation

Animation

I made this project to get used to the python script rown_POLY.

With the help of that script, it is possible to animate polygones. To improve the animation I extruded the polygones, so that they have a little high. The project was rendered with vrayforc4d.

Experiment Pipeline Variations

Animation

In this project I have combined several different ways how an object could be rendered. First it is shown, the possibility of drawing objects, like somebody draws with a pen on a paper. The drawing style is transformed to realistically, almost new objects, later expired objects with ivy. To show this kind of different looks I used a confused arrangement of pipelines.

Experiment New Life is growing

Animation

The intention making this video was to test the vrayforc4d environment fog. When I was building up the scene, I get the idea to make a pot industrial style animation. Maybe the butterflies which are shown in the animation have survived a catastrophe where most of the people died. Now new life is growing in the middle of the house ruin. The Animation was made with Maxon cinema 4D and rendered with vrayforc4d.

Experiment M-Project: filling up the letter

Animation

A lot of people are asking me how I get the idea for this scene setup. I don't know - while building up the scene, I invented the idea more and more. I have done the M-Project to get used to work with vrayforc4d and real flow.
